Ice-skating

At the sports center, not far from downtown, a large natural skating rink (machine scraped) invites you to inscribe your circles from Christmas till the beginning of March. Skates can be rented on site. 
For the season 2012/2013 the skating-rink Radstadt ist already closed!

Ice stock sport

You are guaranteed to have fun when playing ice stock sport with the locals. Vacationers are welcome at the sport center’s ice stock rink. But beware, after a few rounds many a visitor has lost track of time while chatting with the natives.

Snowshoeing

Snowshoe across-country around and through Radstadt. Here you can discover the Salzburg Sportwelt off the beaten track. Take part in a guided tour or explore the Austrian winter landscape on your own by leaving your own tracks in the snow.

Sleigh rides

Time for a romantic experience!

For “passive winter athletes” we recommend a romantic sleigh ride through our magnificent winter wonderland. A stop at one of our many comfortable restaurants completes the wonderful evening.

Winter horseback-riding 

Riding through the snowed-in winter landscape – what more could one wish for? An official winter bridle path (15 kilometers) leads from Gasthof Sonnegg in Radstadt, past Altenmarkt and all the way to Nauhäusl on the way to Zauchensee.
