Located in the Salzburger Sportwelt, Radstadt provides just about everything you can desire for your holiday. Radstadt is just the right place for skiing holidays. It’s located at the center of Ski amadé, one of Austria’s largest ski regions, offering 760 kilometers of slopes that are serviced by 270 modern ski lifts - all available with the amadé ski pass! Whoever wishes for more variety may opt for the Salzburg-Super-Ski-Card which provides access to all skiing areas in the Salzburger Land province. For good measure there are 150 kilometers of cross-country trails, a 6 kilometer toboggan run, an ice skating rink and the Therme Amade spa is only a 4 kilometer drive. Who could ask for anything more?
The range of summer holiday options is also very colorful. For the active holiday makers there is a large variety of marked hiking trails as well as 500 kilometers of well signposted routes for mountain bikers. For those who prefer more leisurely cycling, there are plenty of possibilities in the valley, e.g. along the 250 kilometer Enns bike path. Golfers can choose between an 18 hole tournament course and 9 hole public course.
Radstadt is the perfect destination for a family holiday, for instance with the Farmer’s Guest Service’s range of comfortable holiday farms.
Historical Radstadt, as a member of Small Historic Towns in Austria, also has a lot to offer for cultural holidays, including the Hofhaimer-Festival, the artisan market, the Amadé Bike Marathon, the Tractor-Trophy, as well as the Dumpling, Guard and Harvest festivals.
