- About Radstadt
The pristine alpine pasture Gnadenalm is set amidst the monumental panorama of the Radstädter Tauern mountains, far away from traffic noise. “Alles Alm” offers enjoyable hiking for the entire family.
The picturesque, stroller-friendly hiking trails lead through vast meadows and past fenced-in game stations. It seems as if time stands still here. “Alles Alm” grants an inside view of the tough but happy bygone lives of Gnadenalm’s people.
Ten themed stations introduce visitors to curious and true events and interesting trivia about life on the “Alm”, nature and the numerous animals. It begins and ends at the large stone pine where visitors can slide into an exciting hike. The fun “Almen”-quiz, which a clever calf has prepared for the youngsters, also starts here.
Visitors can relax and enjoy the magnificent view at the comfortable themed rest areas that mark the different stages of the hike. Kids can run riot to their hearts’ content, balance on the enormous rake and scythe, visit the marmot family in its burrow, show their skill at the cow-spots jumping station, explore the giant cow at the alpine water playground, etc.
The “Alles Alm” experience is free of charge and is an ideal half-day excursion. Numerous rustic alpine chalets entice one to linger and the impressive Johannes waterfall can be viewed up close.
